"병적으로 잔잔한 음악 취향을 가진 내게 균형을 가져다 준 노래" 자미로콰이의 'Little L' 느낌. 신세경이라는 말과 같음 음악이었다. 생애 첫 파마를 이대 근처 미용실에서 받고 있었다. 그래 난 머리를 하면서 이 곡을 처음 얻어 듣게 된 것이다. 웃겼다. 당시 이 노래의 제목을 알기위해서 물어볼 수는 있었으나 그렇지는 않았다. 워낙 쑥스 러움이 많은 성격탓에 그러진 않았다. 그러다가 미용실의 홈페이지를 방문했을 때 BGM이 리틀 L이었고, 제목까지 친절 하게 쓰여져 있었다. 덕분에 나는 자미로콰이까지 알게 되었고 그의 다른 음악들도 접할 수 있었다. 처음 들었을 때는 흑인인 줄 알았다. 목소리나 음악 스타일에서 아마 그렇게 느꼈던 것 같다. 어떻게 백인이 저런 목소리가 나올 수 있는가라고 생각하던..

"가을의 을씨년스러운 조금 쌀쌀하고 차가운 바람의 느낌이 노래의 끝을 쓸어가듯 마무리하는 것 같다." 다미엔 라이스의 'The Blower's Daughter' 느낌. 음악에 여러가지 정서가 있다고 하면 이 Damien Rice는 그 중에서 한 가지 정서의 끝판왕이라고 할 수 있다. 건조하면서 쓸쓸한 면에서 자기만의 색을 아주 잘 가지고 있다고 생각한다. 거기에 애절함도 나타난다. The Blower's daughter는 건조함과 쓸쓸함이 잘 느껴진다. 그리고 가을의 을씨년스러운 조금 쌀쌀하고 차가운 바람의 느낌이 노래의 끝을 쓸어가듯 마무리한다.

오늘의 음악!맥플라이(McFly)의 'All About You'2 capo 로 바꿔서 연주한 건데 전 이게 원곡보다 더 좋네요 ㅋ
